Lake Barcroft is well inside the Washington Beltway, but feels a bit like Mayberry RFD. Easter Egg hunts, 4th of July parades & fireworks, Labor Day games, newcomers welcome are part of it. Five lake beaches with lifeguards, quiet boating, nature trails and stocked fishing are another part. We have committed, multi-generational lake families in a very transient part of the world. Nothing is like it so close to the nation's capitol.
