My town was always considered small and a good place to raise childern. While it is still a wonderful place to raise a family, I have noticed that the small town feel has dwindled to almost nothing. There are still pockets of the small town atmosphere but more and more my hometown "feels" metropolitain and somehow foreign to me. The kids like the hustle and bustle of the malls and movie theaters and such but I find myself reminiscing about growing up in a small town. That's progress for you.
