Review of Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Should not be called Baton Rouge
Star Rating - 8/7/2006
Baton Rouge should not be called Baton Rouge anymore. It should be called New Orleans #2. Ever since Katrina, more blacks have moved into Baton Rouge and they are staying, because the city's black Mayor and the state is taking really good care of them. They don't have to work and don't want to work. They just drive around on the main roads looking for drugs. If you go to a fast food resturant or a low price resturant, you have to wait a long time to place your order and to get your food; not only because of the many people, but because of the people that work there, do not care if you get your food or not, because they do not want to work and they can get assistance for money and housing. The schools are really bad. The employed people and whites are moving to towns outside of East Baton Rouge Parish, so their kids will have a better education. In Baton Rouge there is not anything for the kids to do around here. They could go to the very small zoo that is in Baker, a little north of Baton Rouge or they could go to Blue Bayou, which is a small theme park and a water park for about $35.00 per person and $5.00 to park. There are a few movie theaters, but that cost about $22.00 for two people, tickets, and popcorn and coke at the movies before 5:00 p.m. The bus system is very bad. The buses do not go all over Baton Rouge, just downtown, where there is nothing to do and around Mall City and Zoin City, which is where the drugs are. So stay where you are, because Baton Rouge is getting to be like New Orleans, with all the drugs, positutions, and drive by shootings.
