My wife and I are thinking about moving to Bend. We have three young children our oldest being 11.

I own my own company and I can work "virtually", so finding employment isn't a consideration.

A matter fact I hope to employ qualified people in Bend.

And yes I'm coming from Southern California, looking for a lower cost of living and better life for the kids. Whats the REAL story about Bend?

It appears to be all over the board, from poverty with a view, gangs?, crime, and of course amazing and wonderful...

Please HELP?
