My wife grew up in Bend,I met her in Florida and when the economy crapped out she talked me into moving here. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! Bend oregon is full of the dumbest people I have ever seen! Everyone drives 20mph and stops like every other block in the hopes that they can let someone in ahead of them. People just walk right out in traffic and expect you to stop. It's against the law to pump your gas here,im guessing because the people are to stupid. There is so many round abouts you get dizzy driving around and around and around. People here can't even master the 4 way stop everyone sits there and waves and goes "no you go ,No you go then when one decides to go they all go and have to hit the brakes I swear to god they did this 4 TIMES one day. The weather is HORRIBLE, There is JACK to do unless you like to ski which I don't. If you want a good idea on how to make money here just start a BROWN paint store because every freeking house is some shade of tan or brown,never seen anything like it. There is no such thing as a restroom at a gas station,there is no such thing as a convenient store/gas station they have Nothing here a 7-11 is about as as good as it gets. There is no malls no good places to go out no good restaurants the only place that is worth eating at and I mean the only ONE is Chans. People are DOG crazed and bring dogs in the stores and just about every other car has a dog sitting in the front seat. It's so cold here all the time it's nuts. When summer finally comes it's like BOOM 100 degrees and unbearable the sun has this weird GLARE I can't take it. There is nothing here worth a crap! I'm selling my house and getting the heck out of here before I go insane. There is ROCKS everywhere ,I mean everywhere and if you go to the park to let the kids play what do you find ROCK climbing thing. The town has a highway going thru it but it's like you wat to do 55-60 but the limit is 45 ! There is a cross walk on the highway ! LMFAO There is no place to get off of the parkway if you are going south your going to the south end rather you ike it or not.This place is BIZZARROW world BIGTIME and If I were told I had to spend the rest of my time here I would shoot myself!
