My husband and I have been living in California for the last 3 years. We are relocating for a number of reasons, but the main reason is the cost of living here. There are many things that have a negative affect on living in this state; the immigration problem, housing costs, gasoline prices, inability to live where you work, no transportation alternatives, to name a few. We've found we don't have many possibilities here, either for a family, or to get ahead financially. There is little to no focus on culture and the arts in many cities and neighborhoods,many people find it more important to worry about their car or their favorite reality show rather than other pursuits.
