Cali has bomb weather, but high priced to live.

Hi! I am a california native for all my life. I was born in Berkeley close to Oakland. The bay area weather would very from hella cold to some times hot, but mostly cold. Now that I am an adult and a single african american mother living in southern california, I see what my mother saw raising me and my two sisters, california is very exspensive to live! Los Angeles has the best weather in cali year round(hot). But! I promise you if your not wealthy,middle-classed, but struggling it's not for you. California does have good schools, higher salaries, but the gang-bang rate is brutal. As an african american if you don't speak spanish in cali you don't get the minimal jobs. I want to live around succesful african americans and good schools, decent pay and cheaper housing,safe neighborhood and a strong black culture for my 12 and 2 year old son. I was looking into atl,dallas/houston/oklaholma. If any sista or brotha in america can tell me the "real 411" on these places please do so. God Bless.
