I have lived in Southern California for 25 years and did not like it from day one. People were not friendly and then and still not friendly. The cost of housing is out of control. I live in a 4 bedroom ,2 bath house that does for 450,000. It is not worth it at all. We would not be able to afford it if we had not purchased it 10 years ago. Good jobs are not easy to get and traffic is horrible. I commute to work 30 miles. It takes me 1 hour with no traffic and 2 hours with traffic. If it is raining, forget it, you might as well get a hotel room. The air quality is terrible and it is the worst state to live in.
