Review of Cambridge, Massachusetts

Harvard Square
Star Rating - 2/3/2008
Two worlds in Harvard square. Expensive post-graduate apartments and expensive professor mansions. Town center (Harvard Square) quickly becoming over-run by national chains. Neighborhoods are safe, streets walkable, and new england landscape cropping out from all corners. Dense and urban, though, so unless you are a professor who can afford the single family, you'll be belabored by the lack of space for your striving young family of three. School district is often overlooked by the presence of the University, so many families end up moving to better school districts in the suburbs.
