I grew up in Cameron Texas. I still go back to visit when possible. Having been in several parts of the country due to Service assignments, I can say this. This town is genuine and the people will give you the shirt off their back if you need it more than them.
For the entrepreneur there is opportunity for growth for the right business. Location can be beat. I do believe it could benefit from developing a more pass through tourist environment.
If you have children who are athletes, this school is definitely a place they will love. The citizens of Cameron love their sports.
I would love to make it my retirement community and be an active member of its growth.
