Review of Campo, California

Hot, Dry, and Windy
Star Rating - 7/7/2008
Although the weather here in this rural southeastern section of southern Ca. is clear and sunny most of the year, the big drawback is the fire season. We have strong Santa Ana winds and very hot dry days. From June through October, we spend our time scanning the horizon for the dreaded plume of smoke. I have evacuated 3 times since moving here in 2002.

I think CAMPO is a nice place to live if you don't mind the commute to go work or all of the Meth heads (tweekers) or hot weather or wind or fire hazards.
