There are 2 seasons here. 1)Winter and 2) When its not winter. Unless you are part polar bear or if youre living in a fantasy of "spring" then there are 3 seasons. which is a few weeks of mosquitoes and mud. That time where it actually stops snowing/sleeting cold raining and the sun doesnt set before 4 pm. Authentically. Its winter from October thru MAy (snowed on MAy 18th this year!) Yes you read that right. its about 8 months of the year where the sun rises between 5 (ouch!) am and 6 AM and sets as early as 3.45. And youre in an 8 month long (no joke) frost warning at its warmest or a deep cold. June it begins to thaw out. July and August have a few days of warmth between rainy spells. Then Fall starts in August (sometimes late July) and its pretty much winter from there again....all the way till nearly May. I cannot agree with John unless he is part polar bear LOL. Having lived here from the early 2000s and lived with family/visited since the 80s

Don't believe the exaggerations about cold. April signals end of snow. First snowfall come...
