Looking to relocate and need real estate advice

My wife and I are looking to relocate to the Charleston area. The Mount Pleasant area seems really nice with good schools but might be a bit too expensive. Any ideas on a town in the area that is up and coming? Maybe the "next" Mount Pleasant"? Thanks!

Check out the Goose Creek area. There is a building and housing boom going on and houses are more affordable. Of course, just like the rest of the nation, things have slowed down so housing is a little more affordable.
