Review of Charleston, South Carolina

Lowcountry weather - A nice blend of the 4 seasons
Star Rating - 3/18/2007
Charleston weather is a nice blend of the four seasons, leaning a little heavy on summer. If you like a mild winter and an extended summmer season, Charleston may be the right place for you. Winter usually brings daytime temps into the 50's/low 60's with a few days of 30's mixed in just enough to wear some traditional winter clothes. Spring and Fall are really mild and can warm up quickly during the day and then cool off comfortably at night. Summer temp's can range from the high 80's to upper 90's during the day. The temperatures are really ok....it's our humidity in late July and August that can make it a little tough. You get used to it, make jokes about it, and then really appreciate it when the warm summer temp's transition back into a mild fall in late October/November/early December.
