Info About Charleston

Charleston is a quaint historic town on the Wando River. Home to individually owned boutiques and the crabshack. Good place for a week vacation, otherwise, no point in coming. It floods two feet in downtown every time it rains, good place for umbrella lovers. Be prepared to flip your calendars back 200 years. Unless your great great grandfather was a confederate soldier you will not fit in. Good O'l boys political system and general way of thinking. Terrible schools. Mold, dust, bugs, etc. I moved here without allergies and after 2 months had to go on steroids so I could breathe. Hypocrytical church nuts. No night life. Everything closes at 5 pm and is usually closed on Sundays. Home to lawyers, teachers, banks, realtors, and doctors. All of which who pretend to be wealthy when they are far from it. Most of the neighborhoods and houses are "dumps in the ruff". Think again if you are pondering moving here. If you are interested in vacationing. Stay at the Charleston Place hotel, shop downtown on King Street, go to the aquarium, and go to the market, take a carriage tour of the hisoric part of the city, you will enjoy it. I hope this information is helpful to prospective inhabitants of Charleston. :)
