Charlottesville is a wonderful town. Lots to do and easy to get to. UVA has a lot of events. There is a great "Downtown Mall" that is an open air mall. Charlottesville is located 2.5 hrs from DC, 2 hrs from VA beach. We moved here 3 years ago and love it!
