Review of Charlottesville, Virginia

I've lived here about 4 yrs now and I like Charlottesville for what it has to offer, but housing costs are getting ridiculous for such a small city. I was looking at purchasing recently and its just shocking that 700 sq ft apt sell for almost $300,000. You can live outside the city for a little cheaper, but the only reason I like Charlottesville is being downtown. I've decided that it just doesn't have enough to offer for me in my mid 20's and am looking to move to a larger city next year...where it will probably cost more, but I can justify it better.
