Review of Chesapeake, Virginia

Do not move here if you do not have a car
Star Rating - 2/18/2014
I moved to Chesapeake in 2011 after living my whole life in New York City. It is one of the biggest mistakes that I have ever made. The city is not good for pedestrians. A lot of streets do not have any sidewalks. There is no train unless you count the tiny toy cars of the lightrail which only runs in Norfolk AND NOT in Chesapeake! Many buses stop running after 6pm which makes it impossible for workers who work at night to take them. Most buses only run every hour. Bus transfers are horrible whenever the first bus is late.
