Review of Chesapeake, Virginia

Chesapeake, Va
Star Rating - 1/10/2006
Best schools in south eastern Virginia
15 minutes from the "City" - Broadway plays, restauarants, museums etc
25 minutes from the Virginia Beach or North Carolina outer banks beaches
Fairly conservative area; lots of churches

Chesapeake was nothing but farm land 20 years ago. Today, its full of sub divisions and "suburb" feel. Great community to raise children in. Not in the city, but close to everything.

1 hour from WIlliamsburg
1.5 hours from Richmond
3 hours from DC

childrens musuems
air and space musuems
lots of history - James Town, Smithfield, etc

Wonderful place to raise a family.
