I've lived in Chesapeake for the past four years. I have lived in several other states and can honestly say that Chesapeake is by far the most boring area I have ever been to. There is nothing about the area that makes it unique or interesting. I live in what is considered by most locals to be "the best and most affluent area of Chesapeake." Other than the public schools which are pretty good in Hickory, what is so great about this place? There is virtually nothing interesting to see or do. This includes the people, restaurants, shopping and architecture. Very generic. The people in Chesapeake, as well as all of Hampton Roads seem almost robotic. They lack facial expressions and all have very similar personalities. Not to mention are quite rude. It's almost creepy. I feel like i'm in the twilight zone. Has anyone else noticed this?
