Wicker Park is one of the best places to live in the city if you are young. Family owned bars, boutiques, restaurants, and other various businesses are the main feature of the area. There are virtually no corporations in sight. Charming rehabbed victorian houses are converted into 3 flats, so apartment living is taken to a completely different level. Artists are the predominant crowd you'll see out here which basically means 2 things- lower crime rates and lower cost of living. It's the place to be!
