I've lived in Cincinnati most of my life. I've also lived in Southern California. Cincinnati turned a corner after the riots in 2001. This place is progressing at the speed of NOW. Visit and you'll see. We have problems but we are working on them with a mid-western, nose to the grind stone work ethic. If you visit you'll find a clean, safe, friendly city. Most people are pleasant and gracious and will enjoy speaking to you. Visit the Banks, take in a game (Reds, Bengals or hockey). See the theater district, visit Eden Park, or Ault Park or Sharon Woods. Visit the Lager House or the Brewery District. If you like music, we've got it. During the summer free concerts almost every night. Cincinnati is one of the Salsa capitols of the US. I could go on and on. Don't listen to the haters. This city is booming. Capital deepening is going on everywhere. This boom is for those who have something to offer. If you're willing to work and work hard, you'll do well here. If you're looking for handout, move along. People without vision need not apply. Don't be surprised when you visit if you love it here!
