i was born and raise in cinti. cinti is a yankee town that will keep you box in. i lived in atlanta for fourteen years and loved it. i'm so tired of hearing negative talk about atlanta and ga period. people talk about cost of living, housing, traffic, low pay, hard to find jobs, prejudice. let me set the record straight. cost of living: go to cali, new york, and other parts of the us cities. and look at their cost of living. cost of living in cinti is OK. but look what is offered. NOTHING! no jobs, no night life, nowhere to go. you can't even get in car and ride around town and site see. its nothing to see. they try to hype fountain square. please! to do anything you have to go over to covington ky to do a little something. if you want to hear some good jazz you have to go to columbus, ohio or go out of cinti. white folks here don't want black entertainment to come here. they have the police to hound you. its just boring here. me and my wife and kids came back because our parents was very ill. my 7&8 year old know the diference being back here in cinci. let me sum it up. cinti is very very prejudice they sometime hide it,housing sucks. you don't get your money worth. major companies here g.e, p&g, ford they not hiring. other then that no good jobs, you don't have worry about traffic. because cinti is not a town to draw big time people here. sad to say. cinti is not for black. they keep you suppress. no opportunity. so what they won the casino here. people comes in town wants to let loose. but nowhere interesting to go. go to atlanta its always something to get into. we got bet awards, soul train award, tyler perry always shooting. you got singers and rappers making videos. so many shopping malls and you get to see celebrities walking around. cnn, king center, jazz every wednesday in centennial park. good jazz. its so much more. its more to just working all the time and no entertainment. everybody need an outlet to let the frustration out of everyday life. peace
