Review of Clayton, North Carolina

Historic district
Star Rating - 8/15/2012
Clayton, North Carolina is a steadily growing community where the downtown is trying desperately to improve. The main street has many businesses, but still could use a remodel.
They put in a park on the main corner several blocks East of the green. There are also quiet a few recreational parks for the children. I like it because I can walk to downtown from my home and my street has the most wonderful neighbors you could ask for. The town is only Twenty minutes from Raleigh, and we have plenty of grocery stores, hardware stores, pharmacies, and two Walmart's! The downtown area has a plethora of restaurants for any taste, the Chinese take outs are in the local plazas. There are even two Japanese steak houses for the sushi lovers.
