I’ve lived in Cody for 9 years. It’s pretty, but the wind blows here about 80 mph constantly. It’s depressing. There’s not enough snow here to do anything in winter, not enough snowmelt to raft past June, not enough amenities to make it through the 9 month winters. Everyone has turned their ****ty rentals into Airbnb’s, housing prices are through the roof, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a job that offers health insurance. Too many barriers for entry here. Look elsewhere
