Hartshorn Jobs and the Economy

Local jobs consist of logging, sawmills, servicing Big Creek Trailride and farming. Most people work outside of the community (Summersville, Houston, Winona, Ft. Leonard Wood). Commuting to work is normal, as is working outside the community. Work hours here start early 6:00a.m.(or about first light). Minimum wage jobs prevail.
