Bashing DFW/Texas

For you Dallas haters, most of the population of the DFW metroplex is from every state in the US. So bashing anyone in Dallas/Ft. Worth is laughable. Can't drive on ice, really? Native Texans don't leave the house when the weather is bad. Traffic is a nightmare? Well, the ability of Texas to draw people to the state is what it's all about. Being a native, I love a crowd where I can ask who was born and raised in Texas. I would say that in a crowd of 20 people, 2 hands will raise. So bash all you want, you gave us this.

Yeah, well, some of us have to work and don't have the choice of staying home. Dallas drivers don't slow down for anything, so every time the roads ice over there are dozens of accidents. Then the already awful traffic gets worse because it stops completely. I have lived here all my life and I hate it. The bugs. The cars. The lack of diversity. The rednecks. The pretentious wannabes. The heat. The crime. It's a city full of crazy people.

Yeah. The fact is that people are voting with their feet. People are moving in and staying. Lots of opportunity but it is not for everyone. I recommend renting close to where you work. Quality of the different school districts varies all the way from some of the best in the country to the worst.
