Review of Danbury, Connecticut

Can't Wait to Leave
Star Rating - 5/14/2007
As someone before me put it so well, "We moved into Danbury almost 6 years ago. Since then, particularly after 9/11, there seems to have been a population boom. Local traffic has increased dramatically and the roads are inadequate. 5 new expensive "luxury" Condo complexes have gone up within 1-2 miles of ours. There are plenty of chain restaurants and a great mall. Overall we were happy here but can't wait to leave now."

The only change I'd make to that is that I've been here 7 years and was happy for the first two, but because of the reasons above, particularly the EXPLODING over-development of mostly condos and "cluster houses", and the resulting environmental damage (especially runoff and flooding), I would have liked to have left AT LEAST 2 years ago!!
