Review of Decatur, Illinois

A City You Can Thrive In Economically with the Rig
Star Rating - 3/6/2008
There isn't much to do here for youth or young adults unless you're into church or volunteering or going out to clubs. The unemployment rate here is kind of high, but this is mainly for those who don't have any type of degree. Many of our factories are always hiring. I personally want to be someplace with more opportunity in the event/entertainment and fashion industries. The people are pretty friendly, traffic isn't bad at all. Most places take about 15-20 minutes to get to tops. If you're looking for employment though, your best bets are going to be in the manufacturing/engineering and health care industries.
