I've lived here for several years. If you are 'passing through', seeing the downtown historical area and lakeyard is nice to visit and stretch your legs. IF you are relocating here, please BEWARE and take my words seriously. Their are NO jobs (unless Wal-Mart and fast food are your career choices) and I've watched several businesses close shop. Unless you are an imbreed to any of the families here, you are an outcast and very unwelcomed (so be careful gossiping about someone). If you get a job but your boss wants his nephew/son/daughter on the job... well you can consider yourself gone and jobless. IF I could afford to get the heck out of this place I would do it today!

I knew a friend that dated and married a guy from DeFuckiak Springs and he was the most inbred, toothless, white trash person there lol. I've driven through the town as fast as I could (Luckily it's such a small damn town, it took me like 5 minutes haha). Nothing there but Wal Mart and McDonalds....and maybe a Walgreens.

Ok i went to vist friend i knew for 50yrs old navy buddy,i saw nothing but guys that looked liked they walked off the set off duck Dynasty without the money of course looks like no-one's showers there ever my buddy was telling me that everyone sleeps with everybody like inbred stuff I thought he was just joking around with me but after meeting some other people he was definitely telling me the truth.i was shocked .i left went to a motel and before returning home i helped my buddy find an apartment in a different city and paided to move him my self.that place should be wiped off the map...
