Review of Delta, Colorado

It is that bad !!!
Star Rating - 8/7/2009
I moved here in 2006 to be nearer to family. What a mistake. There is absolutely nothing to do unless you like to grocery shop, go to Walmart, thrift stores or to yard sales on the weekend. No galleries, no theater, one museum that's closed most of the time and no music, unless you like country. The local attitude is provincial and insular and the people are clannish and seem to be barely into the 20th century much less the 21st. The Heddles Rec Center and the Ute Indian Pow Wow are the only saving graces. Hopefully I will be moving on soon. In the meantime I guess I'll just sit and watch the corn grow like everyone else.
