what can I say...

I grew up here and left over 30 years ago. Back then there was a promise (a hope, spark) that Dallas would be here soon... that stopped in Sherman. The town does not know how to grow. There was a surge downtown in the mid-90s to create an arts district. That died when Tortorichi made his million in real estate and moved to Costa Rica. The people couldn't save the most important piece of architecture ( the old high school) from the wrecking ball. There is a small group of artists and thinking people that live here.
