Derry has much to offer families from great pizza, to open spaces, to a school district voted "Best school to watch" for its strides in education and focus on the children. The community has a swimming pool which is half the price for a seasonal pass as other local community pools. Like to swim in winter - no problem! Derry boasts of an indoor pool open to the public in the school! Derry is packed full of history, from architecture to American Indians. Nature trails for walking, biking and hiking. I can guarantee you if all the other things mentioned don't make you fall in love with this little town, the views will! Nestled t the base of Chestnut Ridge - the ever changing scenery is amazing, fall colors are stunning, snow scenes look like they are out of a past card! Give this little town a chance! You won't regret it.
