Great place to live!!!

I’ve lived in Duarte for almost 10 years and I love it. I settled here because homes were just too expensive and unaffordable in Pasadena.
I’m above Huntington Dr and the area is great. Great mountain and city views. Great parks and trails. Quiet friendly neighbors. Well maintained homes.
They’ve invested in improving the schools and there are lots of activities planned throughout the year.
The proximity to Pasadena and LA is great. 10 mins to Pasadena and 15-20 mins to LA if no traffic.
The weather is usually warm and sunny. Hot in the summer with temps in the 90’s-100’s. Mild in winter 60’s-80’s. And no humidity.
There was a lot of gang activity south of Huntington in the 90’s and early 2000’s but the city has cracked down and I haven’t heard of any incidences in many years.
All in all it’s a great place to live.
