10 Years of Living in Edison, Just Don't do It

I don't recommend living here if you are planning to move here with a family- even a small one. The school system is terrible- teachers are racist and have favorites, bullying is ignored, the schools are VERY overcrowded, and the neighbors aren't nice and don't even try to interact. If you are planning to settle down in the area, Metuchen or Highland Park is a better place. There is no diversity in North Edison, 98% of people from North Edison are Asian. Mental health issues are very prevalent as well, and the schools aren't good. Teachers don't teach at all, and no one makes an effort to help any of the children through their mental health issues, whether that be guidance counselors, teachers, friends, or neighbors. The public schools are terrible and there aren't too many private local ones to choose from. Since you are a responsible person and take time to read reviews, you should make the right decision to NOT EVER LIVE HERE.
