I have lived here in Amesbury for 15 years now after movinghere from Florida. I love this area because it has its own culture, history and a it's own regional identity. It does not feel sprawling, over commercialized or overbuilt like Florida and much of the rest of the country seems to now. There there are country roads, beautiful beaches small towns and a real sense of place. However, it lacks convenience and access to commercial business compared to the more built up area of the Boston metro.
