Hard place to go against the flow

Eugene is a great place to live but its decision-making is dominated by well-meaning, liberal-progressive social engineers. They see themselves as tolerant but that doesn't apply much to those who disagree with the "correct" thinkers.

Hi Kevin -- have you changed your opinion since May? I am thinking of moving there, and want a safe place to live where people are friendly, lots of fresh produce is available, and there are places for singles older than college age to socialize.
