I've lived in Eugene most of my life spending some summers in other States with my Dad. There is no where else quite like Eugene. I like that there are different areas within the town. For example there's the Whitaker neighborhood that has your dedicated hippies. Unique yard art, friendly people and a Deadhead kinda vibe to it. There is a variety of different kinds of people here. The University's football team"the Ducks" have a fan base here that feels like it has something extra. You will be able to see what I mean quickly during football season. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous and if you don't mind rain you will no doubt love this being your home.
