Eugene serves as a perfect hub for the outdoor life. In the city we have miles of riverfront biking, walking, running trails, two buttes at either end of town for climbing and hiking. We have skiing at mountain biking less than an hour east, and a gorgeous section of coast line an hour west. Live music and dance opportunities every night of the week, museums and authors' gatherings regularly through the University of Oregon. Life is good!
