Fairfield has lousy infrastructure & zoning like most suburbs. The public transportation is very lacking. Car-centric design & lack of industry are going to be the death of this town. It's hard to get around without a car. Even extending The BART to Fairfield would improve life here, but no one cares as long as they can keep Fairfield small because they don't want diversity. Parking lots & a dying mall are pretty much the only things this town has.
