Fayetteville is a nice place to live

I think Fayetteville is a very nice area. There are small rural towns near by, many within 20 minutes drive where you can get a a house 1700 sq ft for 75K-130K depending on how new you want it to be. My sister purchased a nice home in Lincoln for that price. Don't pay too much attention to the jerk who typed all of the horrible stuff about Fayetteville into his last message. I grew up in the area and visit at least twice a year. I have since lived in Houston and I am now in the San Francisco area. I hear just as much if not more intolerant statements made in California than I did in the South. People just don't say it in front of hispanics, gays, etc., but believe me, they say it. In fact, I have had more descrimination thrown at me here in California because of my accent than anywhere else I have ever lived. The university in Fayetteville has thousands of international students, and the area is growing. It is beautiful and pleasant, and you don't sit in traffic for hours like you do in much larger cities. The guy who typed the previous comments sounds like he really hates Southern people, so I don't think his opinion is too fair. He is either some college student from another state, or someone having an identity crisis. I would move back to Fayetteville if I had the chance. There are many good restaurants and shopping establishments that are upscale, though it is not Houston or San Francisco. Don't be afraid to give it a chance.
