Great Little City

Ferndale is a great city! I just wish it was transplanted from being a suburb of Detroit to say-the outskirts of the metro area. Lots of friendly people, who tend to be quite liberal and forward minded. Lots of bars, shops, diners, etc. I have loved living here the last 14 years. Like ANY city there are things that are not perfect, but if you like the thought of feeling lost in your own world where you can walk to any amenity you need-while still being within the boundaries of a larger city scape this may be the place for you. Just beware the current economy is in the hole!
