Review of Foley, Alabama

Returning to South Alabama soon it is awesome!

Lovely place to live for retirees however traffic is getting bad as it is quickly turning into quite a tourist destination. The city has a darling downtown area as well as many locally owned restaurants and coffee shops. People are on CPT (coastal people time) most are bubbly, friendly and fun. I will return to the area soon and finally retire. All of south Alabama is incredible.

I plan on retiring in Foley. I will be driving down first weekend of October to look for homes. Any comments you might have as to best places to look would be appreciate.
