I moved to South Florida in 1990 from New York and have not looked back. If you love being outdoors 365 days a year then this is the place to be. The weather is wonderful year round. Even when it's hot outside you can go into an airconditioned home, car or restaurant. And speaking of restaurants, there are so many to choose from you can never be bored. Last night I ate at Smith and Jones on Las Olas. It was fabulous. Living in downtown Fort Lauderdale is especially convenient as you can get to the aiport, beaches, restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. If you want to do a little gambling that might take you 20 minutes. I am a local Realtor and now is the time to buy here as interest rates are the lowest in 50 years.
