Gladwin is a nice country town.

This is a very small town with just a few stores but I like it that way. There isn't a lot of entertainment here. You need to make your own fun. Nothing is every crowded and there is always somewhere to park. There is a great farmer's market and the Buckeye Market is wonderful. I also like the library and churches. There are a few good restaurants and an interesting historical museum and village. We never had any significant trouble with the government officials. Most are very nice and helpful.
