Been in Greeley most of my 55 years-Greeley has no restaurants, Ft. Collins has hundreds it seems. Night life used to be better but it is improving, but Ft. Collins is mucho better. Traffic is better in Greeley, Ft. Collins traffic sucks. Weather is marvelous in both. Greeley people are much more friendlier, true it's very conservative but that also makes for a quieter way of life. Both are growing way too fast! Greeley's cost of living is much cheaper and the school system is getting much better at a fairly fast rate. I thing the school problem has been due to the high influx of illegals who speak no English. Ft. Collins pay is higher but again so are the costs. Very good colleges State & Community. A church for every need and the jobs tend to be more service oriented as well as industry. Agriculture is phenomenal, one of the 10 best counties in the nation (Weld County)per $ medium. Close to the mountains, 22 miles, located 1/2 way between Denver & Cheyenne and Pawnee Nat'l. Grassland is but 18 miles away-best place in the world for Stargazing. Fantastic places to grow up both Greeley & Ft. Collins. Greeley's crime is lower and the homes especially the older ones are amazing. Greeley gets my nod*
