Review of Haswell, Colorado

Peaceful City with a big future
Star Rating - 4/26/2012
Haswell is a longtime farming community. While the current size of Haswell is greatly smaller than it heyday it still provides quiet residences to a fair number of families. It hosts it's own community center, Methodist Church and well kept park and true to its name Has-A-Well, possibly how it got the name.
Of special interest is that it is the home to the Paul Plishner Radio Telescope and Science Center. Just five miles south of town it was a government site in the 50's though the late 60's, it is now owned by the Deep Space Exploration Society.
Haswell boasts as one of the favorite stop-off points in the Pueblo to Lamar bike ride. Haswell Propane not only provides propane for the area but hardware, auto supplies and other refreshment. This peaceful community welcomes you to stop by.
