Helena is very limiting in what it offers to people who do not enjoy outdoor recreation. During the cold winters it is easy to become isolated and depressed because most of the recreation is outdoors based.

If you don't like the winter, then live somewhere warmer. Society is too disconnected from nature as it is. I enjoy the fact that people value the great outdoors here.
