Economy and Martin County

The area of Jamesville, NC is a desired area to live. Many nice people and nice homes that are well kept. However, the economy of this county is horrible. Williamston is very poor, many people collect welfare and the crime rate is growing very fast in this area. Employment opportunities are non existant and employers do not pay a living wage. There is also a tone of reverse discimination and a certain ethnic groups believe they have a right to have their hands out and we should pay their way. Unless you are retired or don't need to make a living, don't move here. I can't wait to sell my house and move.
