Review of Juneau, Alaska

Juneau is friendly and not a dark place after all
Star Rating - 11/14/2007
Juneau Alaska is part of the National Tongas Forest...meaning rains a lot. The cost of living is very high, and groceries no doubt 30% more than the national average (lower 48). It is always good to weigh your options before moving to S.E. Alaska and Juneau Alaska. Otherwise you wasted your time, money to find out this is not what you wanted. Juneau does have friendly people. People have expectations about places they want to go visit and ideals before getting to their destinations...sorry we don't live in ice igloos all year round!
